Gmail Android Issue Disrupts User Sign-Ins
A number of Gmail users on Android are experiencing an issue affecting sign-in and account access within the app. After being signed out, some users are unable to sign back into their accounts even though the account remains added to the Android device.
When attempting to add the account again, Gmail may display a message stating that the account is already added to the device, while the app fails to recognize or display it normally. Google has confirmed the issue, stating that its engineering teams have identified the root cause and are currently working on a resolution. In the meantime, affected users can access Gmail through a web browser as a temporary workaround.
